Anticipated Opening
Activities Director
The North Iowa Community School is accepting applications for an Activities Director for the 2012-2013 school year and beyond.
Job Summary: Promote fundamentally sound athletic and activity programs with emphasis on physical and skill development of the individual and to encourage a positive attitude toward fair play, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Leadership in directing the activity department staff toward providing a high quality experience for our students while improving programs.
2. Coordinate athletic and extra-curricular activity schedules and management of events.
3. Oversee the activity department budget.
4. Annual evaluations of each coach/sponsor and program.
Applicant must have:
- Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Valid Iowa Coaching Endorsement/License *
- Ability to work evenings and weekends.
*Applicants may work towards requirements upon hire.
