I grew up in Buffalo Center and graduated from North Iowa in 1999. I attended college at Waldorf for one year and finished my education at the University of Northern Iowa. 
My two children, Jake and Samantha, and I recently moved back to Buffalo Center from Lakota in April of 2010. Jake and Sam especially love living back in town so close to their Grandpa and Grandma Kakacek. After a successful year of Kindergarten last year, Jake is excited and ready to be a first grader. Sam continues to entertain other kids at daycare and sings her favorite songs and dance every chance she can get.
I enjoy spending time with my family, golfing, playing sand volleyball, camping, going to movies, and cheering on the Chicago Bears and Cubs.
