Hello, this is my second year teaching K-12 art at North Iowa. I sometimes tell my students that I have the greatest job in the world. I get to teach art to kids. It is a great reward to watch a child create and grow and develop their skills. Two things in life that should never be given; but must be earned are TRUST and RESPECT. It is my motto to try to do that every day with my students.
I have taught K-12 art and PSEO college level art for 14 years in Minnesota. I also was a 7-12 High School Principal for five years in Minnesota. I have taught graduate level "Administrative Ethics" & "Principal Intern Placement & Supervision" for St. Mary's University, Minneapolis, MN. Most recently I was the Superintendent/Principal of the school & vocational learning center at Prairie Correctional Facility in Appleton, MN. I also own my own home inspection business, 5 Star Home Inspections.
My wife, Keri is the 7-12 High School Principal at Dawson-Boyd High School in Dawson, MN. We live in Montevideo, MN. I also live in Buffalo Center, IA.
In my spare time I like to read, travel, fish, hunt, and enjoy or suffer through the Twins & Vikings.
